Customize the Placement of Your Starbox Author Bio

With the shortcode function in Starbox PRO, you gain the flexibility to place your author bio exactly where you want it. Want your readers to know who’s writing right away?

Simply insert the following shortcode at the beginning of your blog post or page:

[starbox id=USER_ID]

Replace USER_ID with the specific ID of the author whose bio you wish to display.

Finding the Author’s USER_ID in WordPress

To locate the USER_ID of an author, which is required for the Starbox shortcode, you’ll need to navigate through your WordPress admin panel. Here’s a step-by-step guide:

1. Access Your WordPress Dashboard: Log in to your WordPress site’s admin area.

2. Navigate to the Users Section: On the left-hand side of the dashboard, you’ll find a menu. Click on ‘Users’ to access the list of all registered users on your site. This area is typically labeled as ‘All Users’.

3. Locating the USER_ID:

• In the ‘All Users’ page, you’ll see a list of all the users along with their details like username, name, email, etc.
• Hover your mouse over the name of the user (author) whose ID you want to find. As you hover over the name, a URL will appear at the bottom of your browser screen. This URL contains the user’s ID.
• Look for a number in the URL that appears after user_id=. This number is the USER_ID you need for the Starbox shortcode. For example, if the URL is yourwebsite.com/wp-admin/user-edit.php?user_id=81, the USER_ID is 81.

4. Using the USER_ID in the Shortcode: Once you have the USER_ID, insert it into the Starbox shortcode in place of USER_ID. For example, if the USER_ID is 81, your shortcode will be:
