How to Connect a YouTube Account
- Go to @Manage Social Profiles from the left-side menu.
- Click the “Add a social media profile” button (top right).
- Select YouTube from the list.
Google Authorization
You will be redirected to a Google account connection page:
Select your Google email address associated with your YouTube channel.
Grant Permissions
You’ll see the message:
Squirrly Social wants access to your Google Account
Select what Squirrly Social can access:
- Manage your YouTube videos
- View your YouTube account
- Select both checkboxes
- Click Continue
Success Message
“YouTube was successfully connected as a social profile.”
View Connected Profiles
Under Manage Social Profiles, you will now see:
- The connected YouTube channel
- Its profile image, channel name, and @handle
- The profile type (YouTube)
- Who added the profile
- When access will expire
- Options to Reconnect or Remove the profile
