How to Connect an Instagram Business Page
- Go to @Manage Social Profiles from the left-side menu.
- Click the “Add a social media profile” button (top right).
- Select Instagram Business Page from the list.
Step-by-Step Connection Flow
You will be redirected to Facebook, where you’ll see:
Which business portfolio would you like to connect to Squirrly Social?
- Select the Facebook Business Portfolio that owns the Instagram Business Page
- Click Continue
Choose Facebook Pages
Choose the Pages you want Squirrly Social to access
(Squirrly Social needs access to the Facebook Page linked to your Instagram Business account)
- Select the appropriate Page
- Click Continue
Choose Instagram Business Accounts
Choose the Instagram Accounts you want Squirrly Social to access
- Select the correct Instagram Business account
- Click Continue
Review Access Permissions
You will now review what Squirrly Social is allowed to access:
- Manage your business
- Access and post on the Instagram account
- Manage and view connected Facebook Pages
Click Save to confirm.
Success Message
“Facebook Pages were successfully connected as social profiles.”
View Connected Profiles
Under Manage Social Profiles, you’ll now see:
- The connected Instagram Business Page
- The associated Facebook Page
For each profile, you can view:
- Profile image
- Display name and @handle
- Profile type (Instagram/Facebook)
- Who added the profile
- Access expiration date
- Options to Reconnect or Remove
