How to Connect a Facebook Account?
- Go to @Manage Social Profiles from the left-side menu.
- Click the “Add a social media profile” button (top right).
- Select Facebook from the list.
Step-by-Step Connection Flow
You will be redirected to a Facebook page where you will see a list of Business Portfolios:
Select the Business Portfolio that owns the Facebook Page you want to connect and click “Connect.”
Choose Facebook Pages
You’ll then see:
Choose the Pages you want Squirrly Social to access.
Select the desired Page(s), then click Continue.
Optional: Connect Instagram Account
You’ll now have the option to connect the Instagram account linked to the selected Facebook Page.
Choose the Instagram Accounts you want Squirrly Social to access.
Click Continue to proceed.
Review Access Permissions
You’ll be shown a summary of what Squirrly Social will be able to access:
- Manage your business
- Access Instagram profile and posts (connected to your Page)
- Upload media and create posts
- Read and manage Page content
- List Pages you manage
Click Save to confirm.
Success Message
“Facebook Pages were successfully connected as social profiles.”
View Connected Profile
You’ll now see the connected Facebook Page as well as the Instagram Business Page if selected under Manage Social Profiles, showing:
- Profile image
- Page name and @handle
- Profile type
- Who added the profile
- Access expiration date
- Options to Reconnect or Remove
